1. Pay via Credit Card, Bank Transfer, or Cash App
Use the Zeffy form on this page to make a one-time or monthly donation via Credit Card, Bank Transfer, or Cash App.
PTA will receive 100% of your donation via Zeffy. Additional contributions to the Zeffy platform are optional.
You will receive a tax receipt for your donation at the email address you provide on the checkout page.
2. Pay via PayPal
We continue to accept donations via PayPal. Click the yellow button above to donate via PayPal. Keep in mind that PayPal keeps a portion of your donation for fees (1.99% + $0.49).
3. Pay via Check
Make checks payable to “Dahlia Heights Elementary PTA” and send to the following address:

4. Employer Matching Gifts
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. You may be able to DOUBLE or TRIPLE your donations. Check with either Charity Navigator or with your HR department – it never hurts to ask!

What is Pledge Drive?
The Pledge Drive is one of our biggest fundraising efforts of the year. Our fundraising goal for this year’s Pledge Drive is $100,000.
Why do we fundraise at Dahlia Heights?
Our PTA raises money throughout the year to fund essential school resources that our LAUSD budget does not cover. This includes teaching assistants, school mental health staff, field trips, classroom supplies, enrichment programs, and more. We rely on the generosity of our community to help us provide these necessities to our kids.
For the 2024-2025 school year, the PTA is planning to spend $575 per child at Dahlia Heights Elementary School.
Who decides what is funded by PTA?
PTA creates a budget primarily based on:
1) Parent/Guardian survey results from prior year
2) Mrs. Shaw’s “wish list” for specific staff and student programs
How much should I give?
We encourage every family to make a donation to the Pledge Drive in the amount that’s right for them. We thank you for any contribution you are able to make.
